What’s the drink?

Cosmos are known for their luminescent color. They are mostly alcohol so drink them slowly because they are very tasty.

The type of glass you have does make a difference on the taste, so you’re going to want use a proper martini glass.

Many Cranberry Limoncello Cosmo recipes are overly tart and saturated with alcohol, or both. This recipe has a nice balance between tart and sweet, isn’t overly alcoholic, although it is strong.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka (or 1 1/2 oz if you enjoy a little less alcohol)
  • 1 oz limoncello
  • 2 oz cranberry juice
  • Sugar for the rim
  • Grenadine to taste (optional)
  • Fresh cranberries and lemon slice for garnish

Directions

Rim a glass with sugar using lemon juice to make it stick.

Add the vodka, limoncello, and cranberry juice to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake.

If you prefer a sweeter cosmo, add a splash of grenadine.

Strain into your sugar rimmed glass and garnish by floating fresh (or frozen) cranberries in the drink, then rest the lemon twist on the edge of the glass.
